Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to create a positive impact on buyers before they walk into your house. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers create their initial opinion of your home and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this helps us to decide what steps we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your house isn't at its best on the outside with refreshed paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "Welcome Home" to a buyer? Touring your house with a buyer's eye, I'll recommend arrangements that improve sales appeal.
I'll suggest that you eliminate pieces that give the illusion of clutter. Tabletops should be free and clear. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "de-personalize" the house so buyers can perceive it as their new place.
I know instantly what a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that need brightening, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively impact the sale.
Buyers like a residence that brings them inside. Decor that could be "loud" should get moved out in order for your home to have general appeal while on the market.

Setting the Stage
In every opportunity, we want to capture buyers' attention. Brightness is important and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to show off your home. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests tour your home and ensure a pleasing scent circulates room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your loveseat and bedding. Buyers should feel like your house has the potential to be. |
